WHAT IT CLAIMED
Published 5 August 2026, it said that across every property we had measured, no competitor consistently owned the answers to buyers' questions, and that "a large share of answers name no business at all."
WHAT WE FOUND LATER
Our later measurement contradicts it. Of 624 graded answers to one property's questions, collected 15 to 29 August 2026 on ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity, 14 named no business at all: 2%.
The sources behind the answers were held too. On 37 of the 38 questions, a single website was used as a source in more than half of the answers: a median of 79% across the 22 telehealth questions and 80% across the 16 business-software questions.
So "these categories are open" was wrong. Which websites hold the answers on a topic, and whether a business can become one of them, has to be measured, not assumed.
